CFEI ( Certificate of Electrical Inspection )

The Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection (CFEI) is a document issued by the Office of the Building Official after the final inspection of an electrical system in a building or structure. It certifies that the electrical work has been completed according to approved plans and complies with the National Electrical Code and local safety regulations. This certification ensures that the installation is safe for use.

The CFEI is often required before a building can be energized by a utility company. Additionally, this certification may be necessary in other cases, such as:

  • Reconnection of electrical services
